this ablity to change maps is great, i dont think it takes away from the game at all.

The fortress idea is great too,.. love to see someone combine fortress with the "rooms" map

mebbe have to change the spawnpoints tho, etc.

anyways, lots of ppl played fortress today, it was fun & different..

anyone got a nice vidcard & wanna show us poor folks what the new headlights in 2.8 look like?

anyone on the dev team wanna say how they work.. like.. the big words
(how they work, like what they do graphics wise to achive what we're looking at)

i got real bored cuz lucifers server wasnt up.. so i made my bestust map yet its called ClovFite

yeh, twas broke, i've tested it tho, works fine now.

i think i'll start on a clover-leaf shaped one after i finish this funky doughnut.

funky doughnut is done, playtesting it, will upload shortly

sweet! good eye.. thx dood! :lol: i changed it up there in this thread ^ just in case.. hrm.. it still gives an "error" no errors found' error at nemos site, but so do other maps.. i just tested that we know work.. so i guess it works? I stuck the map in /application data/armagetron/resource/ and ty...

Your Map Preview Errors -- Is your map valid XML? No errors found. ^thats what nemos site said about my latest map i think it may be erroring, cuz for a triangle, i gave it 4 lines instead of 3? anywho.. anyone see any obvious errors in my map script syntax? hrmmm mebbe i have too many spawn points!...

it'd be cool if the server listed the maps its running, a complete list, when u log onto it, .. it'd be even cooler if that info was able to be parsed out of a server thats running multiple maps & posted in the MOTD automaticly in 2.8.3 or .4 or whatever. theres also talk on the grids about an in-ga...
