Re: Destiny

Finally moved on up to PS4 on Destiny and had a pretty solid game tonight, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyJosS3ri4Y >implying anyone cares The only thing I learned from that video is holy shit I'm glad I got rid of that trash game forever ago. I hate games where you can kill people without the r...

Re: Slight inconvenience

What browser do you use? I use chrome. The other option does come up (I also have the proper link bookmarked) but usually not as the default because I've always used forums.[] instead. I'll just remove forums.armagetronad.net from my history and I presume it will default to the bookmark. However, i...

Slight inconvenience

With the recent changes to the forums, I've noticed that when I type "for" into my browser to prompt the autocomplete for forums.armagetronad.net, it no longer works. Instead, I must manually add the "3" into the URL in order to navigate correctly. I've been thinking the forums were down every time ...

Re: Audio Encoding

TagScanner is a great program for the PC for editing ID3 tags. It allows you to select your entire music library and automatically tag things by the file name using parameters. For example: my entire music library is named in the format of "Daughtry - Superman.mp3" When I tag my new music, I enter i...

Re: Audio Encoding

I'm sure Sinewav would be your best bet. You can probably get more real-time assistance (provided he has the time) by joining the #armagetron IRC channel and messaging him there.

Re: US Election 2016

I meant to post this earlier: your joking spelling of "Ioway" is oddly irking because, in actuality, it would still be spelled Iowa even if the pronunciation was "Ioway," as you put it. Source Excerpt: " ...'Iowa' is actually pronounced with the long A sound at the end, opposed to the pronunciation ...

Re: Recent attacks

I'm intrigued; I tried looking at the forums for a few days now and it gave me many errors. It started with the 404 error and then turned into a 522 error. However, it seems as if you guys have been up and running for the past few days, even while I was experiencing errors. Just throwing it out ther...

Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion

Rain, Your post was very insightful. I like your style of writing, it was a pleasing read. But, I must admit, I didn't gain much knowledge or become enlightened from your post. I think suggestions work better than mysterious advice. Disclaimer: I'm tired as shit and others might interpret your words...

Re: Spontaneous screen break (phone)

Gorilla glass is in most phones. Their advertising ploy is "it's the same glass that is used for helicopter windshields!"

Yes, that's it.

Re: Spontaneous screen break (phone)

In all seriousness though. Probably was the cold, and your leg has heat it up too fast. What's it made of? That seems incredibly unlikely. He said he put it in his pocket and then went to make coffee. Even if it was 0 degrees Fahrenheit in his room and his leg was 80 degrees (unlikely that the surf...

Re: Car problems

I reset the computer, the light's back on. I'm waiting for that OBDII interface to get here. I probably won't get another P0420 because I did the oil-fouler O2 sensor mod that tricks the computer into thinking the cat works. I'll get a P0430 as soon as I put enough miles on it to clear the catalyst...

Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion

... speed — Unnecessary. Speed is relative, a number doesn't mean anything. framerate — Yes. * I neglected to vote for clock . Add one to the total. Just to be that guy: if speed is unnecessary because it is relative , shouldn't framerate be under the same umbrella? I mean, it's pretty obvious when...

Re: 0.4 Cockpit Discussion

Ratchet, please relax! :) While I was never personally a fan of the mini-map, I've grown to see it as useful in some instances. One important thing to consider is the fact that nearly every lightcycle game made in the last 15 years includes a mini-map. Does this mean Armagetron has to have one? In ...
