And I call myself Majination... Geeze.

Laughed my ass off. That was great. Put it into your signature and all will envy you and bring offerings throughout the year.

Bastard. :P I am only at 800x600, too. I prefer playing full screen, but my monitor is all fubar and keeps shutting itself off if I play like that. I need to take the front of my monitor apart and bend the power switch to its proper position, heh. I complain like hell when it happens, but haven't ac...

ASCII Art sucks butt, but that's just my opinion.
You know what's worse than ascii art text? Bad ascii art text.

Flood on. :P

Tank: You mean the messages between rounds like the Bastard Operator From Hell messages, right? I don't know of how to do them but thought I might help you clarify.

Heh, I have enough problems against you. I don't need to sabotage what's left to my game with some greasy eggroll, thanks.

I used to use IRC all the time, but haven't been on any servers in a couple of years. I have always been partial to DALnet if anybody decides to start up a channel and wants my $.02 worth, heh. If we could get enough regular users (or recruit some new ones) that could be fun. Ah, the memories. Would...

Hahaha. Hmmm, who me? Without a few flaming morons now and again I wouldn't be able to vent some frustration with a nice short "STFU". I'm just positive it improves my game play... I don't know how often we'll need to kick people but the silence menu sure might get a work out! Still, that will only ...

Armagoshdarn is such a popular server... I have mixed feelings about upgrading. I suppose if depends how unstable "unstable" is, heh. If there are periodic crashes that would leave everybody having to play on another server until goshdarn is back up then it's just not worth it. 2.6 would have been h...

I had given this some thought while playing this morning but didn't quite fit all the pieces together as well as you have above, n54. I came to realize that I never seem to run into an invisiwall unless the tail was already within my view when the player died. I think you are on to something with it...

That's an interesting idea, Lack. I certainly never thought about it, but it makes sense. Just as the bike is always a little further than where it appears to be, so should be the tail. I'll have to try it out and see. =)

Close wall grind = messed up view

That messed up view you sometimes get when you grind along the outer wall is I think caused by the Smart Cam. Imagine you are speeding along and then make a 90 degree turn to grind along the wall. The Smart Cam kind of gets thrown past the outer wall before gradually coming back in to follow you. It...

Invisible Walls (Invisowalls) and Lag

Invisowall: often blamed on lag not really caused by it. when a trail is dissapearing teh end of teh visible wall is not always teh actual wall so if you turn into a wall that has just passed you and you think you are in teh clear sometimes you arent. also in holes in the wall sometimes the hole is...
