I ask out of ignorance, excuse me for such, but has there been a stable 'Dedicated Server' release that supports auth? Or is that to be the .2.8.3 that Durk mentioned?

Anyways, glad to see that this 'idea' was dropped for the most part.

Isn't this whole problem solved by the kickpoll system? Just kick the people that steal your clan 'tags' if it bothers you so much. Z-man/wrtl: Definitely the best solution to the problem. Word: What if I wanted to be Pru ne Face? If you are having problems with clan tag abusers on servers that do n...

It might be amusing once or twice, but not something I would like to see in the game at large. Warning the campers/explaining to them seems like a better option when combined with suspend than simply having computer ai, which has a tendency to camp under the usual settings, take over adding to the p...

Very, very nice computer. I have to admit I am jealous darkproject. I'm running an HP DV7-1014 laptop. Intel Centrino 2 Dual Core P7350 (2.0 ghz, 1066mhz frontside bus, 3mb l2 cache) 4 gigs DDR2 ram 512 mb Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT Altec Lansing Speakers with subwoofer Blu-Ray/DVD Player combo 1440x90...

I'll mention this topic to noob13 if I see him on the grids today as he runs that server. I could turn it off temporarily, but I tend to agree with having it on. There are other servers (similar settings/similar fighting ideals) that most likely do not have idle_kick on. I don't mean to discourage y...

I haven't tested it out with your camera settings, but the easiest way to deal with this on the default smart camera, without fiddling with code that is, is to simply backwards glance a second prior to performing the 180/double bind. It actually took me a few minutes to realize what camera event you...

Plus, these people here WANT to waste frames. Not particularly, from my end anyways. It was merely an experiment to see what frame rate my computer was capable of producing compared to my old one. 10x the amount of frames was futile yes, but also interesting. Unfortunately, none of my efforts have ...

Sorry Nara. Based on your topic I assumed that you are running Vista. Within Vista, there is a new feature called 'Windows Experience Index' which gives you a rating on your computers specs. I believe that 5.8 is currently the top score that any item can receive. To find it: ->Start ->Control Panel ...

Hopefully this is the correct spot. It is more than possible that this is what you were mentioning, Z-Man, about ghost walls but, if not, hopefully it helps regardless. On the beta1 of .2.8.3, I noticed that at times my tail seemed to split in half, resulting in me producing a real tail and a fake t...

From what I know Kyle, that is the 'proper' way to install graphic card drivers. The graphic card drivers when simply installed over Windows graphic card drivers now appear to work regardless though. Out of curiosity nara, what is your 'Windows Experience Index' score in regards to Gaming Graphics? ...

Nice find Lucifer.

Fonkay: Joseph Smith founded Mormonism. That should say it all given the context it was presented by Lucifer.

My apologies for not having checked back to this thread again. I got lost in some documentation on my graphics card. On my graphics card control panel Tank, I have the option to change settings such as V-Sync for 'Global Settings' or to set it for a specific program. I can either turn it off, on, or...

The same. I assumed, quite possibly wrongly, that from what they were saying about refresh rate was that it wouldn't limit the fps being produced (the fps number in tron), but limit what is being produced that is visibly useful (The human limit to sight in regards to frames per second). Your version...
