Basically, I think you should be allowed to play the way you want. But when you whine about others not playing that way, or try to force them to do so.
That should not happen.

Seems the Shrunkland Moderators are trying to destroy a idea, or style of play. Is that good or bad?

When you set CYCLE_ACCEL_RIM (Guessing that CYCLE_WALL_NEAR is deafult) you will gain acceleration even when your not on the rim (Guessing it is set high enough to even tell) Try setting CYCLE_WALL_NEAR to uhhh .01! Yes, Digging as in humping or getting very close to the rim. I tried those settings.Didn't seem to make much of a difference, You could still hump the rim.
But anyways here is a kinda long recording with some weird things in it.Just search for "HERE" the happening is usually right before it.
