No... What I *have* done is gotten libSDL and libxml2, and configured them both... just haven't compiled them. The commands I used were: For libSDL - ./configure --host=i586-mingw32msvc --prefix=/usr/i586-mingw32msvc And for libxml2 - ./configure --host=i586-mingw32msvc --prefix=/usr/i586-mingw32ms...

What if there's 7 players and someone enters, then leaves the next round? Since Fortress and Sumo have different scoring systems, won't the match have to be restarted ever time this happens? Yes, when the server switches from sumo to fort and vicevers the match restarts. You can always add some hys...

nice explanation Lucifer. i just must object to one thing when you need an element that's far up the stack, everything between you and it has to be pulled to get what you're after, then pushed back on. what kind of stack are we talking about here? c++'s stack<> doesn't allow you to access an element...

whats the difference? anyway, while (1) what? what should 1 be? 1 should be 1. `while(1)' is an infinite loop. check out the script i posted, it does the same thing as yours, only it is five lines long instead of 100. and no, it wouldn't be better in c++. perl is very good for these sorts of things...

pavelo: yeah, i know, interpreted programs take up a lot of stack memory. no, you're missing my point. i wasn't referring to the fact that perl is interpreted. in fact i think that interpreted programs take up *less* of *real* stack memory due to the fact that the recursion is interpreted and the i...

does it actually issue commands to the server, or just print them there? it just prints them.... no need to check. and about that script.... it seems to have an infinite recursion... i know the script is meant to be run indefinitely, but you could do it in a way that doesn't waste stack memory.... ...

they protect the hardware, not the software
did your computer (physically) survive the storm ?
if so, then the protector did it's job.

ok, i'm gonna vote for Tank Program too. she was complaining of being a bit bored. If you were being bored, surely you'd vote for someone else for a change. i found this a bit odd the first time i've read it.... somehow i don't think that voting a different person each round is the best monotony-bre...
