Sort of back

Some people have probably seen me on the grid, so I just wanted to confirm that yes, that's me, and I'm sort of playing again. I think it's been 3-4 months since I last played. Even with all the new settings and versions and whatnot, it's still fun. Anyway, the reason I haven't been on is that my wi...

I didn't see Tron back when it was first released. I probably saw it first on video in 1984. In college, though, our campus cinema showed Tron on film one weekend, and I went to that. Looked great on the big screen :D

It's one of my favorite movies, ever.

Ability to change other players' colors

This is just a simple feature request. I'd like the ability to change how other players' bike and trail colors are presented on my screen. Depending on one's video settings, display preferences, moviepack, monitor quality, etc, it can be very difficult to see certain color bikes and trails on the gr...

A crazy stat

Hey Lucifer, Thanks for the cool stat sig. :D Speaking of stats, I came across a stat that truly surprised me. Check this out: http://breakfast.servegame.com/statsig.php?player=nemostultae 147 match victories, but only 15 won rounds?! That's not something you see every day. It's not a bug, is it?

Breakfast In-cam?

In case anyone was thinking of creating another Breakfast style server, I have a suggestion. I think there should be an In-cam-only Breakfast server. Several people and I have played In-cam on Breakfast in Hell, and it's a lot of fun--a nice way to break the routine. Anyway, just a suggestion.

I'm running two servers now, I suppose that's news. The team server is back up, and a single player server is back up. Egg's still in transit, so far as I know, and there's no telling when he'll be back around here.
Where did Breakfast Decompyled go? I liked playing on that server, too.

But lists are stupid. I truly don't play to win, I play to have fun. I ain't the best player, I ain't the worst. But I've had more than a few great days against almost everyone on these lists. Too many players have advantage because they use good hardware against someone with poor hardware. To real...

I just started playing again after what felt like a several weeks absence (though it was probably less). I usually play on Breakfast servers, Tiger Goshdarn servers, and 'ish 2.6 (occasionally). That said, here's my list of top 15 current players (in no particular order): Everclear locutus Lucifer e...

I got a 13. "Good: You are pretty talented" I probably have an advantage since I'm Chinese, lived 4 years in Korea, and I like Japanese pop stars and movies. Oh, and my wife is Korean. Three of my errors were Korean people who didn't look Korean to me. One error was a Japanese person who l...

There's like a whole ton of goshdarn clones now.... Just so I (and others) know, which servers are they? Armagoshdarnish doesn't count since its settings are not exactly the same as the original Armagoshdarn. As to whether or not Armagoshdarn Clone should be scrapped, I suppose that as long as some...

Given how Armagoshdarn Clone is the closest thing we have to the original Armagoshdarn in terms of server settings, I think it ought to stay as it is. But maybe that's just me.

Hey 2+2=5, good to see you here. :D Reading your post, I just wanted to make one note. Doing "180s", whether it's on the arena wall or player walls, does not usually require double-bound turns. Personally, I never use double-bound turns to make 180s. I find that a quick double-tap of my ke...

Complaining about other people's playing styles is a crutch of the insecure. DL, with all due respect, I'm not totally convinced that you're even capable of distinguishing between turns made with double-bind and those not made with double-bind. Why do I say this? You and I were playing on Breakfast ...

I like it fast, too. The extra speed is what makes Breakfast Burrito fun and unique. When I want a slower game, I go to 'ish 2.6 or 'goshdarn Clone. I like having the variety to choose from. I haven't noticed any persistent lag problems on Breakfast Burrito, though a few days ago (for at least one m...
