I just did and he fixed it. I got the new drive with the newest os x. Its running so much faster now

Bought a new drive. Replaced it myself. I even got a dvd with mac os x lion on it. Still not working. Cant even load it to the disk utility. Command + R combo not showing the internal or external drive.

I tried the command and s combination and showed me this.

Yea. I am gonna reinstall os x lion tonight. If it doesnt help, i will replace the HDD.

the only thing kinda working is when i pressed and held the option key and it showed me this. But cant really click on it, its stuck. Then I heard really creepy and loud sounds coming from the right side of my laptop.

Hey all! I am trying to turn on my laptop. When i press the power button i can hear the startup chime but then it shows only apple in the middle of the screeen and stuck.
