Re: FoosterNET Hosting (Free during beta testing!)
Alright. You should be good to go now. I disabled individual container network interfaces for now, but I might revisit it in the near future. It just requires inside network configuration and these containers are about as minimal as it gets and do not contain utilities for network configuration.

Re: FoosterNET Hosting (Free during beta testing!)
Sorry for the delay, I was fiddling with sty+ct+ap but it just segfaults on newer operating systems. These are running on the latest Fedora for the newer systemd container support. You should be good to go. I gave you sty+ct if that's ok. When you login you should have access to everything you need....

Re: FoosterNET Hosting (Free during beta testing!)
The daemon that manages the servers does not run as root (mostly; there's a root helper if you choose to go the container route) and does not use individual Unix users for privilege/server separation. This allows multiple users to manage the same server among other things. It does run the server bin...

Re: FoosterNET Hosting (Free during beta testing!)
What source (e.g. sty+ct+ap) do you need? Also, check your PM for initial credentials if you haven't already.
A screen session has a few security implications, but I can look into it if you really value it.

Re: FoosterNET Hosting (Free during beta testing!)
They are located on Linode's infrastructure currently in Atlanta, but I can move it elsewhere for you.
I've also already implemented SFTP access and containerization of servers/scripts preventing them from being able to interact with other servers!

Re: Fortress Idea?
Just my small input on the Steam idea (since I've researched a lot into this before), Steam is a fantastic distribution platform that makes it easy not only for the end user but also the developers. To distribute the game on Steam, it would simply mean compiling binaries and supporting files, compre...

Re: Heads up for the 6 people who compile this game on windo
The only reason I compile it on Windows (besides to increase my insanity) is so that I can play a fairly recent version of 0.4 on Windows. The snapshots on sourceforge are very old at this point and I wanted the bug fixes that have since been released.

Re: Armagetron .3/.4 Download Sites??????
Armagetron Advanced 0.3 is available from http://beta.armagetronad.net/, but 0.4 is still in development. I post occasional builds for Windows from the latest 0.4 trunk at http://fkmclane.tk/armagetronad/builds/ if you want to try it out. 0.4 is relatively stable and I use it daily. The 0.3 version ...

Re: DVD making software?
I'm not sure which operating system you are using, but two great ones are Bombono DVD and DVD Styler. I personally prefer Bombono DVD, but you must pay for the full version in Windows (it works great and creates very good custom menus in Linux). DVD Styler might give you another option or two, but i...

Well, I've not had problems with bzr, but as dlh said, you can just download a snapshot. I do (greatly) prefer git to bzr (and every other vcs), but bzr isn't that terrible and you probably had some local changes or reason it wouldn't merge from launchpad. I updated my build to the latest revision (...
