Generally I think there are bigger things to be worrying about. Personally I believe we are headed towards global economic collapse / WWW III or even a Mad max situation as things break down and people fight over resources for survival.

I agree! I've been having so much fun on this server in the last few days. Actually the most fun I had was the first time I was there. Before the respawns and before you had to have your flag home in order to cap the other team's flag. IMO it was more fun that way.. very crazy and chaotic and all so...

Yes, Beta 2 works fine for me.... very strange.

My user data directory is supposed to be here C:\Documents and Settings\Elryn\Application Data\Armagetron but it doesn't exist. The Link exists in the start menu... but it doesn't find it, because it's not really there. Hope that makes sense. Since the program errors out before it fully runs, maybe ...

There is already a var folder in the install directory.

I created a dummy folder in program files called armagetronad, and put a var folder in there. that didn't work. same error
