I have found Wings 3d to be exceptionally intuitive - at least compared with blender. And vim. (not only for modelling) (no flames,[\i] I write my code in vim (and am fluent in emacs. happy?))

one security issue being human naïvity combined with HTTP authentication. Images on remote hosts could propt for HTTP auth. The naïve forum user, browsing the armagetron forums and being asked for a password, is likely to enter his armagetron forums password, be it only to get it out of the way.

does this mean you are using windows x64 or that you (understandibly) don't know that win32 applies to anything from windows 95 to windows me and anything from windows NT 3.5 to Windows 2003 (including xp) ?
