Thanks guys... AntiX put a line in stating the IP address, yesterday.
I just checked master server 3, and MBC is showing again! Woohoo!!
It was that 'bound to socket' solution
Two weeks ago, the MBC Arma server changed IP's, and none of the master server's show MBC yet. I know something was done several months ago to ensure MBC was showing in the masters, but no idea what it was. ( Maybe wrtl has an idea ) In any event, the new IP addy for MBC is 72.233.51.46 Server confi...
good luck with it, lucifer....
I find it's more stable, though not quite as fast peak rates...
but the upstream and downstream rates shouldn't change much
at all, no matter what time of day
I've had ADSL since 1998, and have only had two problems since then. One time my modem quit on me, and another time one of my computers could connect, but not the other. It was something with the ISP, and they had fixed within an hour. Running that speed test, just once mind you, came up with this: ...
nah, don't need a master server banning system
players stop going to those servers, then the server admins
from those same servers go into other servers and beg people
to come to their servers
*picks on iceman*
and I knew the quotation marks suggested that... haha eh?
and my grammar can be just as bad as I am proving here because
I don't use uppercase except I's... and I use lots of dots... and a lot
of and's...
Just as a note, if you run a program like Webroot's Spysweeper, it
can sometimes block the game, thinking it's spyware or something.
So disable it, if you have it.
And for trouble-shooting, make sure you let Arma install into its
default directory.
