Is this a branch for slightly more complex arenas, i.e. non-square or maze-like? If so, I'll be glad to dive into the code sometime and check it out.

Is it behind a firewall? I've been noticing that NATs tend to mangle the keys beyond recognition. I'm not sure why this is, though.

BB Game (word association)

Since I'm somewhat bored, I wanted to start a posting game. I'm going to start the game off with a word at the end of this post. The person after me, puts in a different word he/she associates with my word, and the person after that does the same for the word before theirs.

This is sort of off topic...this entire thread went off topic. No matter... Anyway, just to clarify, a hardware router should be faster than any Linux box you set up yourself. A hardware router, while ultimately controlled by software, should have specialized hardware that's specifically tuned to ro...

Server stats here in profile

I'm not even sure that this is possible without a lot of work. I noticed that a lot of us are using the same name here and in the game, so I think it would be neat if we could check our stats for different servers here on the website/forums. Maybe even show who's all playing. A friend of mine did so...

That's what I thought when I read WallyWallWhackr's post. Do cheating clients get kicked?

Non-rectangular/cubic arenas

I requested this in the old project under the same name, but I can't find the post any more. Anyway, I'm not sure how code is set up for the arenas (I'm sure it's just a calculation on an int since it's pretty much just a square), so I don't know how hard this would be. I think it would be really fu...

There is no way you can easily have iptables open up the port, because the port on your computer is incremental, and doesn't have a set range. So, I don't think it can be done, or at least I don't know how it can be done... Well, you could tell iptables to ignore Armagetron packets, though you woul...
