I'm using the same keyboard as the old computer.
As for why I zoom, it's a bad habit, sometimes I need to zoom in to see more in detail, but it seems that lowering the field of view helps.

Re: odd behavior when zooming (windows 7, tron 0.3)
ah setting it to the wheel works. But the keys I normally use for zooming (- and =) function normally, so... EDIT: By the way, everything was working on my "old" XP computer, the zoom problem just started yesterday when I moved to this current computer, which is why I thought it was an OS ...

odd behavior when zooming (windows 7, tron 0.3)
Currently using windows 7 (not beta), when I zoom in it zooms all the way in, and when I zoom out it zooms all the way out. It appears like the key is being "held" (even though I tapped it very fast). Using Armagetron 0.3_alpha8870.
Any suggestions?

Re: compiling
Would it be possible to compile through something other than CodeBlocks, such as Dev C++? And how would I do so?

compiling
A few questions: 1) To compile armahacktron on Linux, all I have to do is follow the instructions, and only the instructions on http://crazy-tronners.com/wiki/index.php/Crazy_Tronners_Wiki ? 2) Is armathentication included? 3) How would I modify the source? 4) How does Infamous make the windows buil...

Re: Few problems =) Edit: just team colors and names
You have to create settings_custom.cfg (and server_info.cfg), they aren't included

Re: \1, \2, \x in english_base.txt
ok, then perhaps I should state the ultimate goal of this..In certain servers, I've noticed when somebody leaves, it says, "XXX left the game, *after playing x rounds*", is that done by changing the source?

\1, \2, \x in english_base.txt
Where can I find information about \1, \2, \3, etc in english_base.txt, especially for player_leaving_game
(i.e. player_leaving_game \2 \3 \4 \5 \6 \7 \n, what are \2-\7? When I tried it, I could guess \2 was rounds played, but nothing more...)

Re: dedicated_idle
How would I set up an everytime.cfg? (I currently don't have one)
Since I doubt just having an include everytime.cfg in settings_custom.cfg would work..

Re: dedicated_idle
Then it goes into an infinite loop when nobody is there...if this behavior could be avoided? (i.e. only quit when people have JUST left the server)

dedicated_idle
Though I set dedicated_idle 0, the server doesn't quit when there's nobody in there, it only resends the information to the master server. I'm using the build Infamous provided at http://fight-clan.org/stuff/Builds/armagetronad-dedicated-sty+ct-081409-KILLALL.win32.exe . (Need this to work so the lo...
