as I'm browsing in all directions for stats , I've noticed that Google [Bot] (amongst others) is almost always present. Is it because of the size of the forum or is it a behavior commanded by any code (like in a .htaccess file for example), or is this just an effect of something completely different...

sure, I thought about the brandwitch/ ping problem. but: - it seems spectators don't increase the general lag - it would be no problem to have one or two seconds of latency for spectators it would be also a great way to capture videos, allowing playing with the camera options around one or more play...
