Re: Forum Question

I see there are other's who have their own forums under the 'teams' tab, so i wasnt sure if what you see is what you get ...

Forum Question
Hey all, Im considering building a Fresh New Ladle team! Well, I kind of like the idea of having a our forums be within these Arma forums? Im not very familiar with how that works, however have a few questions: 1: If our team had a sub forum on here, would a private section be possible also? 2: Woul...

Re: feature idea: log "screenshot"
Not sure if this is what you're requesting, however this could be cool: Assign a screenshot button through the client, when pressed, all screenshots go to a 'screenshot' folder in the main directory. That would be extremely convenient.

Re: Let's talk about doing a Kickstarter for Armagetronad
But even if we don't create an in-game ad network available to commercial advertisers, we can still create such a thing to advertise ourselves and anything we come up with that people can do to buy things. What about placing appropriate ads in the main armagetronad.net forums? Except, contrary to t...

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
Hey, I keep hearing about: 'the sty+ct extensions' ... What exactly is this? What does it mean for Arma?
EDIT:
Also, if i may ask: How much (ball park number) money has Armagetron generated since it's establishment?

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
but i just dont see it going any farther, im just clearly stating my opinion.. I wouldnt mind paying, just saying i dont see how it could possibly flourish in todays age. I appreciate your opinion as well! But, this is the very reason for the topic. I want to know WHAT (if any) improvements or bene...

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
I dont know why we have discussed this as much as we have already.. Its kind of pointless, the way i see it, this is discussed every couple years, and we never get anywhere, we aren't going to get anywhere now. Comments like yours are the reason for that as well. The DEV's are big boys and they can...

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
How about a series of collectible mugs that have all the default instant chats printed on them? :) That is a badass idea Luc. I'd totally buy some souvenirs! Making teams pay for the Ladle will kill activity, especially among newer teams I disagree. In fact, I think It will do a lot of good things....

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
Ok so, I fail at math, would somebody like to put together an example equation including how many possible contributors + how much $$ they would need to contribute (from the current players/forums)in order to make a reasonable dent in the amount Dev team would need to make something positive happen?...

Re: Question for the Dev team (about money)
Thank you for all the replies! I really liked the bit about "custom options where others could see/Integrated Chat and such" -partial quote. Well, the reason I brought this up, though I realize Real Life comes 1st, I was just curious what gains COULD possibly be made to improve Arma if it ...

Question for the Dev team (about money)
With a significant donation or consistent income: What could the Dev team accomplish? Are there possibly applications or software unavailable via lack of funding? Are there any goodies Armagetron could get their hands on ? I for one much appreciate what the Dev team has been able to accomplish with ...

Re: Ladle streaming - are ppls interested in this?
Sounds great, but eh.. twist? I hope you mean Twitch! An excellent and FREE program for this is Open Broadcaster Software . It's a bit complicated but I can help you with that if you're around on IRC. For commentating, was thinking of an open teamspeak channel to let everyone watching talk in there...

Re: Ladle streaming - are ppls interested in this?
A follow up on this - I need people with a good computer and connection to test their stream at twitch.tv and record some result for me. It seems my computer and tron's erratic movements isn't a good combination for streaming, the quality isn't as good as I'd like it to be. Someone else can do the ...
