Re: I'm vaccinated!

There was a long wait to get in. I failed the first temperature check because I had been standing in the sun for 20 minutes. I was like "hey, try the other side of my head, there was less sun on it." I passed. Hahahahaha I got my first shot today! Biontech, because between Word and me they decided ...

Re: I'm vaccinated!

Don't worry too much. All of the approved vaccines have as near to 100% protection against a deadlty outcome of an infection as one could wish for, even against the mutants (as far as I know). Recently I read that AZ is only 10% effective against the super-deadly South African variant and while it ...

Re: I'm vaccinated!

I'm looking forward to getting a vaccine... and having this all under control, around the world. I miss socializing in person. Keep up posted on how you feel in regards to side effects. On the day I got it, the punctured section of the arm hurt a little and I had a shivering fit during the night, b...

I'm vaccinated!

Thought I'd let you know I got my first AstraZeneca dose last Saturday. This might be interesting for Z-Man and everyone here living in and around Cologne. I had to apply by sending an e-mail with a doctor's certificate attesting my chronic illness to our city's ethics commission to get my shot so s...

Oh, I'm very sorry. Thanks, Misery. My condolences. I only saw him a few times when I started playing and he was one of the few kind people I encountered during my first days in the game.

Re: What Size T-Shirt Do You Wear?

Random idea if you need more: You could design T-shirts with a top-down view of certain fortress situations, like those old graphics from playfortress!

I might be wrong but didn't you or someone else make a server like this a few years ago? :) I think I remember playing this, but it might've been a ctwf map.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Yes, Soccer Mommy is great too, but again I only listened to one song so far, so I left it out for now. :-) And that barista-situation sounds awfully familiar; I have an entire list of lyric fragments and audio files of me trying to hum the melody of songs I heard during a party or in random places ...

Re: Sumo as a Team Game

Another parameter you can think about changing is the time one has to spend in the zone so it doesn't collapse. It'd be interesting to see what happens when you change it so that, for example, a teammate has to be inside a zone for 5 minutes and then both teammates can decide to leave the zone for 5...

Hah! I wish I could build anything in the real world. My skills end at shelves. I can saw boards to the right length. And sometimes, I can repair stuff. I replaced a broken spoke on my bike the other day!
Haha, my best friend and I once did that together and it took us like an hour or so. :D
