Planet of the Humans

I was wondering if you've seen Planet of the Humans and what you make of it? I used to think I was informed at least slightly above average on climate change etc. but I now feel hopelessly naïve when it comes to what terms like "biogas"/"renewable energy" actually mean. The film noticeably doesn't t...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

The Sound - Propaganda (their first album, recorded in 1977, released in 1999). I know sinewav used to like Joy Division a lot, and The Sound is from the same era and has a similar band history and musical style, but I'd consider them a little funnier and slightly more optimistic, but also less musi...

Re: The COVID-19 Crisis

Hey everyone, glad you're doing relatively ok as well. I guess I'm pretty well off right now, but I currently don't have a job and spend Easter with my parents which, psychologically, wears me out way more than the restrictions themselves because my parents never forget to remind me that I'm jobless...

Re: Custom server-sent moviepacks

Well, all you'd have to do is copy the same moviepack folder in the game folder on each client computer, then activate it in-game.

I probably also wouldn't try to have some sort of tagline relating growth of the game with COVID-19.
Fixed that :)
Now really would be a good time for a Steam release, too bad I haven't started on the paperwork early.
haha thanks!

Don't mean to crap on your idea in any way but if it's anything like my tinder experience, most people will sign up for self-validation and plug their instagram account, then leave.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I really like HBO's Watchmen and the last episode featured a song by the Zambian band WITCH ("We Intend To Cause Havoc"). Here's another one I really enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bAwKD9SWFs While I was listening to WITCH, Spotify recommended the band Natural Child to me: https://www.youtu...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

You can get better while trying out your new gear. Buying guitar pedals is half the fun of playing! True, but I'm gonna need money first. I work as a waiter on a tourist ship in our city for the next two months, that's might be the start of a pedal collection. :P Anyway, this is Thurston Moore expl...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

One day I plan to build a Hurdy-Gurdy, though it will have a quite a few sympathetic strings, like a sitar. Add a sustainer and make it electric, then play the butt song on it and add drums/percussion? :P A short while ago I thought a lot about saving money for a sitar pedal and watched lots of vid...
