Since I am hosting servers again, and I saw that the Fortress ai branch has had a fresh merge with the current 4, I tried it and implemented the fix above. I put up 4 Ww servers in 4 new locations on the VPS's i just finished setting up. Los Angeles, Chicago, Netherlands, and Germany. Why the SCORE_HOLE -2????? Holing is now a bad thing??????? With 4 person teams it may be hard to setup a hole.... and the zone conquer settings should be changed....

I was never part of rZ, but when Zero first started playing Fortress with his buds, I came in and taught them some of the basics, every week when they would practice. If you pour through the old topic that Johnny posted, you will see that the challenge is not to get Armagetron on steam. That can be done. The challenge is to create a marketing plan to get attention. I will post more on the idea of a marketing plan later..... Marketing is what I do nowadays.

why not promote it in-game and on the forums, but tweak it to fit the current state of the game. Maybe have signups to play and for team leaders and the day of the brawl, pick teams either based on who shows up or randomly.
