Re: Best Moviepack
It as Phytotron said, that someone removed this link: http://www.iceman.armagetron.co.uk/moviepacks.html from the iceman archive. Additionally, assuming JSRF stands for Jet Set Radio Future, the download has been archived at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.firstdigital.plus.com/iceman/moviep...

Re: Ladle 23
Your server was the secondary server and would be used if both teams were American, but 3 of the 4 teams that could possibly play in that round are European, making it impossible for your server to be used. Since it won't be used, I removed it to eliminate confusion. Oh, sorry, I didn't see that ;)...

Re: Ladle 23
Yes because we don't want to have dead servers (there were 6 (8 including mine) that weren't running as of yesterday). Also, some server admins may not be available like when PinkTomatoes was away for the last few Ladles. In fact, we didn't know that once and tried using his server since we thought...

PHP Tournament Management
http://dessert.ath.cx/mcp/ << Current Source Code. (It's a little messy, but should be easier to read than other stuff I have done :). It's my first proper attempt at OOP as well.) I've attempted to create an automated tournament manager in PHP. It's running at the moment on {PinkTomato} PHPTourneyS...

Re: LADLE new rule about aliases
I'm strongly for a rule banning aliases, at least at the beginning of every match, as a courtesy to our Admins. While yes, some teams are incredibly organised and can put themselves together within 30 seconds, there are others that leave a lot to be desired. Trying to figure out who was a spectator,...

This might over-complicate it, but possibly specifying a reason for a ban could be used to make decisions on by the script. As server policies differ, some servers may have a strict policy on swearing for example, and the server administrator of another server that does not mind swearing could find ...

Re: MCP: tournament management master control program
10. It would propagate game winners to the next round and repeat at step 5 (legs would be independent, of course), telling teams where to go. Could it use KICK_TO the new server? That might make it quite seamless. Unless KICK_TO increases the ban score, which would not be good. Announcing the winne...

Are will still doing setting rotation? That makes server hosting harder. However it would be easy to package up the current spork server for others to run. I think it would be easier if we have 2/3 servers per server, and just let teams register normally. It could be difficult to get everyone sorted...

Query regarding ALLOW_CONTROL_DURING_CHAT
I could be wrong, but ALLOW_CONTROL_DURING_CHAT seems to be a server side function. Surely this is a player preference rather than a server preference? If a player is stupid enough to think they can talk and play at the same time, they should have control over whether they can? Even so, it works in ...
