Re: Strange quest; Keyboard cameras

@deli
You can get PS/2 to USB adapters. I had one. They are simple and work perfectly.

@Goose
I single bind, which would be interesting to see in a sumo match, however I don't have a camera.

Re: Favorite game that isn’t Armagetron

I like SuperTuxKart. It's an open source Mariokart type game but with FOSS mascots instead. I organised a game of it with other Tronners recently but only 4 of us turned up and not all of us could stay long. Still, it's a good game. If people want to do another get together for it then I'd be up for...

Re: 0.4 on OpenBSD

OK so that makes sense for the Low Latency stuff but what about the grid floor? Just turning off the grid floor alone causes the FPS drop. Surely going from Dual Textured Plane to No Floor should increase FPS or at least do nothing, there shouldn't be a huge FPS drop should there? While we're talkin...

Re: 0.4 on OpenBSD

I've done some more experimenting and bug #3 is indeed a Tron bug. It is a very strange bug. Basically, both on current versions of 0.2 and 0.4, having either the grid floor off or selecting "Optimize swap for -> Low latency" (or both) means having a max of around 100 FPS and jerky gamepla...

Re: 0.4 on OpenBSD

@Z-Man I use CWM (Calm Window Manager, the other WM in the base system). It's so clean, minimal and simple...much nicer than FVWM in my opinion. There is now another bug that I have found. I briefly explained it in our Discord server but I have now got more information about it: Bug #3 When in game ...

Re: noob needed help, docs fixed it...

@Unknowable First of all, welcome to the game! Secondly, I should mention that we have a Discord server, I don't know whether you know that yet or not. It's not a complete replacement for these forums but it is useful for many things. I can't remember the exact link, if you're interested I'm sure so...

Re: Fullscreen Trouble?

Yes, there is still issues with full screen/window mode toggling. The bug I have (on 0.4 only, 0.2.9 is fine for me) is related to switching between full screen and windowed mode. To change mode, I now have to press the appropriate key several times, or hold it down for a while. It seems quite rando...

0.4 Clang compile warnings could lead to bugs

As you guys probably know already, I compile my 0.4 client with LLVM/Clang. IMO, it generates better warnings than GCC, of which there is a lot. I'm not proficient enough in C++ to fix them all and I know that you guys are busy, however I recommend fixing the warnings (most are small issues) as this...

Re: 0.4 on OpenBSD

Bug #1 So, there is now a bug related to switching between full screen and windowed mode. To change mode, I now have to press the appropriate key several times, or hold it down for a while. It seems quite random as to whether the mode toggles properly or not and it does it for both ways. There is so...

This is the first time I've heard this version of this song. Impressive.
