do i have to draw shading myself?
it doesn't seem so...
when i turn off the mapping of the other bike models, they still have shadows.
or is it like this: the moment you use mapping it has no real shadows but
uses the shadows drawn to the mapping?

if you put a 'cycturn.wav' in a folder called 'moviesounds' in the armagetron folder
you have a diffrent sound for turning

so.....

what's grinding!?

grind.wav or spark.wav???

just found out, by changing it into a distorted basskick, that the 'expl.wav' is
for the sound of dying ( :) ) but also for turning and grinding....
only pitched one octave up...... strange.....
rather sucky.. :( .... i want diffrent sounds!

hey, is there no sound to change for grinding?
i would love to change that into some real nasty screeching :)
like a train hitting the brakes
the soft skittering sound in the game is a bit dull
