Re: Been a long time, and I have a really stupid idea.
This is just something in my head that I am messing with. What's up my man? Good to see you! As Z said, I don't think racing maps are the best choice, but rather you should use maps that make use of conquering zones. You can design some interesting "levels" and place different objectives ...

Re: 3D Printed Tronny
Hah, you modeled one yourself! Yes, I didn't like the replacement one and couldn't find the original, then decided I needed practice. I might draw it again one day because I didn't have a clear idea of what I was doing so printing it turned out to be a problem in a couple spots. I also learned that...

3D Printed Tronny
I spent way too much time on this joke.
You can now have a Tronny for your shelf in any size up to 170mm customized with the year, category, and your name -- if you can prove you won.

Re: My new YouTube channel
It's a good start! I don't really have anything to add because it's pretty clear you have a good idea of what you want to do with this format. The only issue I had was with the audio, there is some noise similar to wind brushing against the microphone throughout the video, perhaps from a fan or some...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Oh hell yeah, I need more of this.
I've been hearing more and more good music from Germany lately and I wonder if it's time I visited to check some of out live.
Here is a heavy duo I like from Berlin:

Re: Best or worst idea? Getting a Velotaxi/Rikshaw for private use
One thing I haven't seen discussed here is how easy are these things to repair? Do any use off-the-shelf parts? How expensive are parts? Easy to get? Can you do the repair yourself? I started thinking in this direction when you mentioned the lack of a read window and though "just cut a hole?&qu...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Here's some totally non-Beatles music! These are all pretty good, but I think the Marika Hackerman song is the only one I really liked. It has a kind of forcefulness the other songs don't. Actually listened to it a couple times. Over the years I've become adverse to songs in major keys, I really li...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
How do you like the new Beatles song? I didn't like it at all. I recognized the great musicianship and it of course sounded like The Beatles, but I would throw it in the pile of Beatles songs I never listen to. In fact I had a hard time getting to the end of the song and don't care if I never heard...

Re: sine.wav - various graphical
glTron comes with three artpacks that are easily converted to moviepacks. I remember Iceman had these on his site 20 years ago but those are long gone, so here they are (with moviesounds).

Re: What are you listening to right now?
The Damned - Curtain Call What a great album. I didn't give it much thought when I was younger, in high school it was just something my friends listened to. By the time I bought a guitar (1985?) I was hanging out with different people and listening to different music. I really missed the boat when ...
