The client does not matter the version that the map has ;the client just want to play.Not many clients know about maps.

no,no,no.The wiki page has ONLY support for linux.I have also tried to apply the shooting patch and it doesn't work on windows.

The download link for Acme in wiki is only linux.Can anyone who has download it post it in here?

I think that it doesn't mind very much when you put the map in a server.People do not look at the version number.

This never happens when someone uses map editor.If you make maps on hand it is too posible.And too hard to fix.

If you have video problems with the game and you think that your graphics card is still 100% OpenGL compatible use this trick:If you think that the game must HAVE really super graphics disable all "performace tweaks".Then the game must run normally

ok but you cannot DESIGN your map there so you may need map software

Hi, I am sure that everyone needs mapping software my one is worst and buggy so suggest something new.Also there is also good for generetors.Mazers, fortress,etc.

You can try elipse maker

When you have downloaded a map from a server, you can play it.Go to Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Armagetron\automatic\ then browze the maps.After that type map_file and the map name and you will play that map.

For example map_file [artist]/[type]/[mapname]
