I set a pass for my dedicated server, but I can't do /login. It says that /login isn't a command. Any help?

I set a password on my server, but I can't do /login

How can I set Admin for my dedicated server? I'm on a mac and I have it running, but I'd love to be able to be admin.

So, I'm trying to set up a dedicated server. I typed in all the config stuff and ran it, but when I went to log into it I couldn't find it under the name I put in the config. After a little while, I found a place called "Unnamed server" and figured out it was mine, by the way stuff appeare...
