Neat! Smooth animation to a relaxing track.
Also, giant crayfish sort of thing of some description, which in the context of the forums makes me a bit nostalgic. Heh.

Re: Forums updated
Note to all users, if you've been having problems with @forums Armathentication since the upgrade, I just tracked down a bug in the string processing I wrote to sync the Armathentication passwords. No data ended up in places it shouldn't, just the string manipulations were slightly out. Please try l...

Re: Reconsider adding an upvote system
I've made a note to look at the extensions Z-man linked in more detail when I get a chance. At a quick glance it looks doable, but not quick to do. I need to set aside a day at some point for this stuff.
Re: Donations
Donations were pretty generous back in the day when I was a student and I needed help paying, but fortunately the Armagetron-related things I host are not that expensive for me anymore (yay job!). A big thank you for anyone who contributed back then. For now though until we can come up with somethin...

Re: The COVID-19 Crisis
Good to hear people are doing OK. I'm also working from home, but I miss my nice work desk, chair, and monitors. My home setup was not meant for 10 hours a day on it.

Re: Forums updated
I believe everything we have for themes is on launchpad. If someone updates it for phpBB3 and lets me know, I'm happy to apply it. I can always be pinged on IRC.

Re: New Title Screen!? and other cool stuff
I recently discovered PowerPoint can render 3D models and animate their movement to a limited extent. I'm in the middle of making a video for another project using that, and it might be an easy way to get some controlled effects that look decent. *PowerPoint can also apparently be used as a programm...

Re: Armagetron ON Steam (2019) with steam direct
Great news Z-man, although I'm afraid I probably won't be much help. (I'm just checking in during my semi-regular forums upkeep.) I've had some experience with Steam authentication type-things via the WordPress Social Login plugin . Probably not directly relevant, but it was fairly straight forward ...

I've broken down and done the next big update to the forums. Our custom theme is broken so we're on stock prosilver, but otherwise nothing should be affected. If there are any issues, poke me on IRC.
