Reading all this, i have had a great new idea for a map! Single player too.

The only problem is, how do i test them? 3.x?

yes, if its .rtf, that wont work.

Do it this way, in textedit, go, FORMAT > Make Plain Text. then save it with .cfg instead of .txt

Then it should work. All the settings seem fine.

I love ddl, and i live in australia...

400 ping is average for me.

Infact, i might be lucky to get 390...

Get over your ping problems, deal with that!

Hmmm, i see what you mean...

Here, i simplified it by taking out most of the zones.

And i tried the destroy zone....i think i have got it wrong though

Also...i think i might stay away from the monitor thing for now...

I had a crack of zones v2...

Its a crazy race, with instead of just death zones, it has zones that:

• Slows you down
  Speeds you up
  Kills a random player
  Teleports a random player to a random spot
  and the normal win at the end.

Thats all well and good, but is there a good map editor (acme like) that will run on Mac osx, doesn't need x11 or anything else, and works? that would be great. I would make one myself, but i don't know how.
