Re: Where is the Ladle (and Fortress) heading in the future?
One reason I'm against upping the conquer time is the end of round zones. If a lone defender dies in his zone while being attacked, that zone should fall if there is even a single attacker in it. Period. This is always the case as long as decay is below conquest. Period. Anyway, how about slowing d...

Re: Pickup Improvement! :)
What if we picked teams in IRC instead of in the pickup server? Maybe the two captains are automatically redirected to a different chat to pick teams? I don't know

Re: Pickup Improvement! :)
Seriously? Are people not allowed to post on the Arma forums without getting shitty replies anymore?
Anyway, the zone conquer is definitely slower.

Pickup Improvement! :)
I love pickup. It's awesome. But I have a couple of thoughts on how to improve pickup, and I bet many of you do as well. 1. The worst part of pickup is the lengthy time it takes to pick teams. Any ideas on how we can speed this process up? 2. Subs: When you !add and sign up for a game, but there are...

Re: The Ladle has lost its spark
Let me say I really only read the first 15 posts here and I have not played the ladle in, well I'm not sure how long. But I lost my spark for the ladle a while ago. I've played parts of it sense them but here is how i honestly feel. Too many teams, to many people bending "common sense" ju...

Re: Wi-Fi or LAN to play?
When I lived in Michigan I could play wirelessly in any server. I could also play wirelessly in EU servers when I lived in Texas, but the lag was noticeably worse. Now in California I can only play wirelessly in US servers. And I only plug in on Ladle days so I don't play nearly as much fort as I us...

Re: Ladle 48: uNk vs Tx Ladle Video
Enjoyed it, but the first 30 seconds was nothing and the first two minutes following FoFo are boring except when he TK's and gets near Hoax when he self-pwns Maybe following whoever broke the def would be a bit more interesting Thanks for the upload!

Also, if you get the chance watch uNk.team vs Tx for the best comeback in ladle history. Tronny Award 2011 :D? 8) Round TX uNK 5 86 36 6 88 56 7 90 74 8 92 92 9 94 106 Tronny Awards might have to go twice a year, because who is going to remember all the awesomeness of single matches months and mont...

Re: Mac lag and timing/sync problems
Since trunk revision 1039 I'm experiencing this problem on linux, however it doesn't sort itself out over time. At the start of a fortress match, all the cycles are driving head on against the wall behind the enemy zone... the cycle's eventually disappear and the minimap updates every second or so ...
