how do i make the 32 bit dedicated server look for exisiting files instead of making a /tmp directory for itself everytime?
can't i just put the folders in the right spots?

How are you running the server? Itself, the binary doesn't have temporary files and thus no need to create a temporary directory for them, so I suspect a script would be the culprit.
