Server Ladders on Site

Post by Yo Momma »

Hey guys, I am totally new to these forums, although some of you may know me. I am making a new site tronhub.tt.cx and I would like to put server ladders and won rounds/matches on it. Code told me it was a php script, and I am somewhat fluent in the language, however I'm too lazy to figure it out myself  haha is there any premade script that I could use?

Thanks,

MommA

Well,

If you are wanting to put random server ladders on your site, you will need to ask the owners of the servers where their ladder files are and if you can create your own ladder using them.

for example, if you wanted to create a ladder for -=VcL.Clan's ->Sumo<- server, you will need the link to the servers var directory, example, http://somesiteorip.com/var/players.txt and make the php pull that data and display it.

Hi and welcome to the ArmagetronAd forums. Here is a helpful hint that will save you a lot of grief and torment when using this forum. Saying stuff like this...

Will sometimes cause a very bad reaction from the community, so be careful. Always try searching the wiki and these forums first before posting. It's very likely any question you have has probably been answered...several times.

A quick search for "ladder +script" gave me a whole page of results. Here's a few links if you are too lazy to search, but can still click a mouse:

http://forums.armagetronad.net/viewtopi ... 402#199402

Like Raj said, you'll need to coordinate with server owners, and any script you aquire will likely need some customization.

Good luck with your new forum and see you on the grid. :)
