ok, now I need some opinions.

I'm not sure how the -match-system/-server locations must be done.

1. Alternating between EU-servers and USA-servers
2. Playing matches at an Australian-server

or maybe another idea?

If we can find a server where both part would be as laggy (australian or any other), that would be cool, and more interresting than the first option.

Playing on a euro server from US is laggy enough for me...
It seems interesting but that concept should be for another competion in my opinion.

Why not get the teams assembled first and then have a vote among the players if it even needs to go that far.....

Maybe Austria?

Anyways, playing in Australia still wouldn't help much. I live on the West Coast of the U.S. so I get about the same ping on an Australian server as I do in a European one. Whereas for the Europeans, they would get about 350 ping.

I think the only person here hosting australain servers would be Luke-Jr

US, Europe, and Australia** based hosting

But this does not solve the real* problem.
So we decided to play it like this. if everyone agrees.

There will be 3 matches each played both on a Euro sever and a US server

To avoid loss of time from changing servers and setting up etc, 3 matches will be played consecutively in each server. (ie. 3 matches in Euro followed by 3 matches in US or vice versa.)

Decision as to which server the tournament starts will be decided by the change in the value of US dollar to Euro from July 25th to July 26th GMT.
If the US Dollar goes up against Euro then we will start the tourny on the US server first then the Euro server and vice versa. An announcement will be made on the 26th .

The outcome of the tournament will be decided by the total points of all six matches. Therefore
each kill, suicide will count making it very exciting.
