Strategy for getting that many games caught: camp out on the servers reserved for the quarters, hope not to miss starts too badly (two recordings start right during round 1 because only the 'gl/hf' cacophony woke me up). Plus, energy drinks. Next problem, how will I sleep?

Wow, this was the weirdest Ladle yet. There were so many unexpected things happening. For Ct's sake, I hope this stops .

Anyways, I didn't see anything past the quarters, but gz to the winners and the seeds. I hope the seeds know that this means ct can play any of you in the early rounds.
I didn't personally experience much lag, but it seems like it was a big factor in the Rogue server matches. Next time we should switch Rogue server with a server that can handle it when it has 32 people.

I have just been kicked from the final, 5 minutes before it starts, after waiting for over an hour, with a message "you've been kicked, please do not come back"

I try to join again, and get a message that I've been banned. I'm a team leader trying to watch the final.


Why you are using a 32 man server when G5's is 60 man is totally beyond me.

Wow I hear ya. Just got kicked from the finals when 1) I wasn't one of the last specs to arrive and 2) my team is one of the two playing. Can someone explain how this "kick spec from server" thing works? I thought it was done randomly after the same thing happened to me last ladle, but now that this is the second time I guess it isn't. And why would you need to kick someone from a server when both teams have their full teams? And even if it is absolutely necessary to kick a spec, it makes more sense to me to kick someone who isn't a part of the two teams playing the match.

I think the exact phrase was "You have just been kicked by the server admin; please stay away."

Anyway, grats to liz & co.

It was in a US server because every ladle it switches...US then EU then US...

The reason u got kicked was to fill space for the playing teams. I got kicked once and I was playing the next game...Z-Man doesn't know this and it is ok...he can't know of 32 people which to kick and which to not. As for the ban. When u r kicked from a server, there is an autoban of 120 seconds.
