How do I play custom maps in a local game?

Is it possible for me to play maps such as the mazing ones on a local game?

Yeah. All maps you play are stored locally. The settings however, are not. Check your client's resource folder.

If you're on the .4 client, you can use the help menu. Not sure if it's in the .2 client or not, but pretty sure it links to the resource. Then, just include the files from there. If you find a file like this for example ...

/home/light/armagetronad/resource/automatic/light/race/mymap-1.1.aamap.xml

You can include it with ..

MAP_FILE light/race/mymap-1.1.aamap.xml

Just change the height and width in the URL. Unless you mean normal mazing with your own tail, just make the arena size smaller.

Thanks. I want to get better at being able to single and double bind quickly. But the rubber in the mazing servers is to ridiculously low for me lol.

You should check out my labyrinth server. The difficulty of the mazes are random, and new randomly generated mazes every few rounds.
