Servers don't answer

I just got Armagetron Advanced for my Macbook Pro yesterday

Sometimes when I join servers, it works

The rest of the time, it tells me after about five seconds that it could not connect

Any suggestions?

Are other users there? if it's empty or marked unavailable, maybe it's no longer running. You may want to update your server list.

If you custom connect to a server you know is up and running, do you still run into this issue?

If you're unsure about whether a server is up, I recommend epsy's server list as a means of checking with another source.
Are the working/not working servers always the same (can always connect to ABC and/or never to XYZ)?
