Map Load Failure

Can someone tell me why I get "Map Load Failure" then " Connection Terminated" in Crazy Tronners Wild fortress.
I've sat in the same room as my friend whilst he's playing there too and it doesn't happen to him.

Maybe this will help (this comes up just after "Connection Terminated")

I think it has something to do with not having the map in your local maps? That's what was deemed the problem a couple months ago when a friend was having the same problem.

Your local map is messed up, Why, I donno. But for some reason it has downloaded a website instead of the map, Posibly DNS server was not resolving correctly or some security on your computer. Either way the only way to fix it is to.
1) Locate where the resouces are stored in the About menu.
2) Find that map ct/wildfort/sumo_box-0.0.2.aamap.xml
3) Delete this map from there

Now next time that map is played it will download a new copy of the map

If you want to know what happend you could post that map here or PM me it and i will take a look at it.

You could do all that and download the maps manually and place them in that resource/automatic/ folder. That way, the same problem won't occur

I think you can find most of their maps here: http://crazy-tronners.com/resource/ . Just look for the ones you need and download it into there

Corrected! But no need to complicate things, arma is capable of downloading maps when it needs them, 0.4 will replace bad maps like this. Just something rare happend when he was playing CTWF and needed this map the last time.

Here it is... Had to change it to .txt for upload.

That map looks fine, maybe it is the dtd, can you post the dtd you have? Should be in the same recource folder, in ct/map-0.2.8.3.1_sty+ct.dtd

also what version of armagetron do you use?

At first I used (0.2.8.3.1 - New Version! - February 21st, 2010)
but then I switched to (0.2.8.3.2 - New Version! - September 21st, 2011)
and then back to (0.2.8.3.1 - New Version! - February 21st, 2010) mainly because at first i thought that could've been the problem.
As I know from when I asked last time ,it doesn't replace any files, but can add some.

Anyway I have two "dtd" files in there, won't let me upload. It says "The uploaded file is empty"

Well then the dtd may be the problem, either delete the dtd's and hope that when you play CTWF they will download again (they should), or replace the dtd's by dowloading then from http://crazy-tronners.com/resource/ct/

if it is the dtd other maps will give you a similar error also.

EDIT: Convict PMed me the dtd'd, the map-0.2.8.3.1_sty+ct.dtd is the problem, it looks like someone else is using this DTD for thier map in thier repository and not including the dtd on thier repository.

So you just need to remove the map-0.2.8.3.1_sty+ct.dtd file, the other one is fine.
