what config variables for crash-to-revive feature?
Is there a configuration setting to make players in a local (no network) game automatically restart after a crash? I've seen some network servers with CTR (crash-to-revive) settings, that's essentially what I would like to do offline as well.

To do this, you must apply some sort of patch (I don't know which one).

Ah - OK. I have read some references to compiling other (presumably more unstable) future versions of Armagetron. I'm sure it's related. Hopefully at some point this option will be part of the main release! Thanks for the info.

but that is part of the sty branch which you should be able to use as a client if you can compile it.

Or, you could compile a regular server, any version of the game with the option in the configure command --enable-respawn.
