Cannot connect to MasterServer with 0.2.8.3 version.

Hey there, ive a problem. I cannot connect to the masterlist with the 0.2.8.3 version. Wap has the same problem. We use windows.Help please.

Same problem here, aok_yoshy has the problem too. It stops at the list entry with #80 or sends new (for v0.2.8.2.1 unknown) config variables. And some servers have no user data ("polled over master server, blah blah").

Humm, can you send a recording? The 'polled over master' stuff suggests the config got messed up.

Edit: nevermind, got one. It's not limited to the 0.2.8.3 rcs, 0.2.8.2.1 is affected, too. Apparently, master4 is bad. It's running trunk code, it seems. Tank, wrtl: do something!

Now the same in 0.3.0. There stands anything with unknown command Message_cache_size.

it is on and off though, I think having 1/2 master servers down is finally catching up.

Ah, Master Server 3 works. 1 and 4 not.

And killer, can you pm me with a german tutorial to record? I dont understand the wiki. And im using windows.

i remember having a similar issue to this when i was testing tron on windows 7 7000 and i found if i waited a few minutes it would finish syncing. So today i tried just the same and it ended up syncing. so if this does happen and seams like it crashed just wait a minute or 2 and it should take you to the list.

I have a new master set up at simamo.de:4533. My home master is feeding it with all the servers it knows already, the list should be up to date. So, tank: whenever you're ready, bend master4 to simamo.de, please.

The debug recording I made shows that master4 just takes its sweet time before it kicks clients out. I can't tell why from here. So yeah, if your client seems stuck, it isn't, really. It's just waiting to be booted from the master. Just stick around one or two minutes, you'll be taken to the list then.

Jupp, i saw that i connect to master server 4, wanted to check this forum and 2 minutes later master list was there.
