Different Cycle and Trail Color

We should standardize the default Color Codea to 0x7FBFCFE

If you want to help your friend teach him that the default color code is 0xffff7f and it is a crime to use 0xffff88, otherwise sine.wav, Jonathan and I will pwn him for the rest of his tronic life!

I don't see why 0xffff88 is any easier to remember than 0xffff7f.

Well, #ff8 is easier to remember than #ffff7f, and the expansion is trivial

Similarly, it's easier to just use 0xffff7f than to argue about it.

But if we stopped arguing, we might start programming, and that would be a disaster!

And I really don't think we'll completely remove color codes, we'll just make it so hard to use them that everybody will quit. But I've been in favor of disabling that bug by default ever since it was originally fixed.

Does it really sum up the above conversation? I think you suffer from "selective reading". I can only hope that with color codes removed, the "community" (which is really just a small portion of the whole, made up of newbies), will hopefully talk about other, better things. Then again, probably not.
