I think i may have came up with a new trap, but it may already exist. Im not very good so could more experienced players give me advice on it? when your grinding along a line and someones gaining on you (i am in this situation alot (in this example youre on the outside and the other person is to the right of you)) you double bind left 3 times tunneling then go until you hit a corner where you trap and go back down the way(not down the way you came) and you can tunnel even more
Welcome to the Armagetron Forums. A place that is mostly hostile to anybody from the Dogfight/High Rubber community. It's nice to see you post here, trying to take part. Unfortunately, the rule around here seems to be to make fun of anybody that likes/plays HR/DF, especially if they are new to the forums.
Know that some of us actually don't hate on you for just posting what you thought

Compguy, nobody made fun of him because he plays HR or Dog Fight (neither was the typo in the topic title the main reason for the amusement here). Don't take that as a critique of ID, because it isn't: Will he get unanimous praise for a post like this if he submitted it on your forums, so he eventually applies to become a member? He got laughed at because he deserved it.
If you're asking for a comparison, it's also clear to me that clan forums tend to ban more people who disagree with the clan's ideology than Arma forums, which lives from the community and where you have to push your opinion through using logical arguments. That's the only rule around here, and if one fails to understand that, he's not taken seriously, but he isn't hated either.
Nevermind if you really think you are the chosen ones who don't need rationality and all that crap and the rest of us is a bunch of antisocial nitpickers...The problem is that constantly outlining how different you are from the rest of the community makes it much more difficult to treat you like a part of it; yet you keep complaining that you're somewhat feeling unjustly treated, which you haven't been. If you're entitled to being regarded as a special clan, it's counterproductive to undermine the respect others used to have for you by not returning it (I can see the advantage of course; if you don't care you can put down the others as much as you want - which is why I was never entitled to any of that), by not following the same consensus everyone else does (plus, nobody forbids you to question that consensus).

I wonder why people have, for years, been complaining that we don't get new players (and need to manufacture ways to attract more) when it's quite evident that there has always been constant turnover and influxes of new players.
