Federation of Clans

This is a site dedicated into improving tron and many other things. All clans and their clan leader are allowed to join but clan leader will be able to access a special part of the forums where only leaders can see.

We will all try to work together and try to accomplish things such as:

- improving tron
- setting up clan matches
- blacklisting "bad tronners" and ban them from all of our servers
- tourneys, its way easier to set up tourneys here then on a clan forum

And also many other things =)

It has been agreed upon by many leaders that this community will be also be known as "Federation of Clans" or ¤FoC¤. The members of this community would be ever so grateful that this tag or parts of this tag be added to the end or front of your current sever name. Although this isn't mandatory that this tag be putted up upon joinning, it would be nice to show that you support this cause.

And to clear a few things up, by joining this community or putting up the tags(on your sever), no rules are forced upon you (if you don't want recruiting to happen on your sever it will stay that way). The main purpose of this as I have mentioned before is to improve the game of tron.


The admins of the site are Heero and Qbrain, anyone is welcomed to join as it is said up there. I know most of you, if not all of you will find this post is not important. It is however aimed at the few that may care and wish to join but did not know about it

It is always nice to see new initiatives spur out. It show how much the armagetron's community is active and passionate about the game.

I'm a bit surprised that you felt the need to start another forum. I thought this site was also about improving the game, setting matches between players and clans, exchanging information about abusive players, and setting up tourneys.

I can only wish you success in your enterprise. You seem burning with passion, so it can but succeed.

Well, yes these forums do function for alot of those things, however the matches set up on the FoC site are mostly between clans, if we were to plan them here it would not be relevent to 98% of the people on these boards and would really only take up space here

In terms of exchanging information about abusive players, in extreme cases ip's are exchanged between the Server admins so they can be banned on more than one server. This is only done when said person has done many many things to make many many people angry. however ips are something that should not be posted were everyone can see them, hence this is part is done in a hidden forum within the FoC site where only the clan leaders may see them

No one can argue that improving tron happens on this site more than any of the others devoted to the game, however FoC is just another to make this game alittle more fun for everyone

Heh, well, as u may have noticed some servers have added the ~FoC~ tag to the server name. This is just done to show that they support/are members of FoC

Such a forum exists on this board, too, although most server admins aren't in the right usergroup (I can only access it since I'm a developer), so it is pretty quiet

ok i made the site on a idea of Eagle. I made it together with heero, were both in the Six-Dragons clan (~}SD{~, ) we are both admins there. the site is build up in 2 diferent sections: the player section and the leader section. There is also a 3rd section in developing wich is for the leaders who want to talk privatly with the server admins.

The main target of FoC is: "Make tron even more fun." we want to get lost from people who disturbing the fun game for most of the players, for example: we post the ip adress / screenshots / explanation on what a player did do in his/her server. Clans can ban that guy for a time their want. Also we have good discussions about clan matches/what to have on each server and also about more clans joining the FoC.

to summarize it: FoC is simply a "federation of clans", wich does everything to make the game Armagetron advanced even more fun for players from clans/ new players.

Many of the clans in FoC have easily downloadible, free, dedicated servers. I don't know if they would be allowed in the admin forum here. However i may be mistaken.
