like the prefixes?

Mostly i wanted to see some people write on the grid, i've been trying it a fair sight lately, and managed to get my own name down, and i'll post it up as soon as i make a screen. I started trying to write other things, and get pretty confused by certain letters, including the K and the v.
I was trying to spell brainless, because he kept popping in and leaving, oculdn't get past brain.
Tried to spell oscilloscope because it seemed really hard, and no go there, though i got oscil
I made a lobster too, which i ought to show you all.
Just to get the word out that in armagetron, there ARE alternatives to make big boxes around people that remember that the instant chat for that is 7

I used to have, as my avatar, "Licifer".

I finally corrected it, but never updated it.

All the other words I spell aren't appropriate for these forums.

Yeah, I likes that word. And I likes to spell on the grid. I think it should be added to the wiki under "Grid Games."

People spell in different styles, too. I take a blocky approach, while I've seen others use zig-zags to make rounded letters.

I think I've yet to get my own name down satisfactorily because a) I would need an entire side of the arena, which isn't often afforded me, and b) I have trouble with the S. It's an easy letter to make, but I always mess it up when trying to add it in a string of letters.

Here's one I made for Fonkay, a name I like to spell regularly:

I guess we could give it a really edgy and cool name, like "Grid Grafitti"
and arrest people for doing it

btw, scope, have you tried it in the cage?
the small turbo means you can claim a sizeable portion quickly, the speed's all right, and the arena's pretty big

I've got a screen of my own name, whch i liked, but it doesn't seem to like me putting it on the forums or something
Sep and i made a multicolored version of his name

i turned green and he did Sep, i did iku
looked good
oh yea, and i wrote ossciloscope
which is too many s es at the beginning, but hey, whatever

Anyway, anyone got some custom cam settings i could use to make a better screen? i did this one in smart cam, though of course, you can't see it.

One thing you can do, KamP, is make a recording, then play it back and adjust the free-cam while your recorded self writes. Then snap the screenshot(s).

Yeah, for that "Fonkay" I just did it in a local game. That was back with 0.2.7.1, so with the graphics, alpha blending and floor mirroring my fps was like 8 by the end, heh.
