I'm amazed you can even follow it. I'm not referring to the content (although there is that, too), but just the way he "writes." Maybe the fact that you've had a few babies makes you more fluent in muddled gibberish?

You know, it occurred to me that another benefit (from his position) of his link bombing is that by putting a dozen links per post, it discourages anyone from taking the time to refute them one by one. Of course, that's the benefit to conspiracy theory in general, is that it's so dense and convoluted, it's not worth the time and effort to most people to attempt to parse, tease it apart, and debunk the complicated web of multifarious, esoteric, and otherwise nonsensical claims.

Oh come on someone debunk this madness for me so that I don't have to go on believing it.

Throw 50 things at them at once, then demand they refute all of it at once, right there, on the spot, and in brief. It must all be debunked in totality, in summation (which, of course, is an impossible demand). Then, if and when one can't (won't), it's an automatic victory for the conspiracy theorist.

And even in the instances where someone does offer refutation (and, mind you, all this crap has already been thoroughly refuted and debunked), conspiracy theorists are already primed to dismiss that person and their information as blind, duped by the conspirators, and perhaps even in on it themselves.

It's just another religion. You begin with a premise and conclusion already defined—even if it's just some vague gut feeling—then go in search of the "proof" to fill in the blanks in between. It's no coincidence that both fixit and Gene have woven expressions of strong religiosity (or "spirituality," or whatever you want to call it) into their comments regarding these conspiracy theories. It's not a matter of facts and evidence, empiricism and rationality; it's a matter of belief to be proven or disproved.

What one will also notice is that conspiracy theorists never seem to be into just one conspiracy theory. If they believe one, they tend to believe many.

To repeat, Illuminati, The New World Order & Paranoid Conspiracy Theorists (PCTs).

Phyto, I have to say one thing. I don't post about these things because it is the wrong place. But, I will say this. Given a better place to talk about this, I would happily debate this in a coherent, well-reasoned manner. I appreciate the way you present your viewpoint, even if I disagree. But really, I would prefer that this whole debate just stop. It has no value.

You not only won't accept any debunking, you don't want it debunked. We've already established this.
