There are fans of certain college basketball teams that at home games will voice a constant AHHHHHHHHHH or OHHHHHHHHHH every time the visiting team has the ball. That's about on equal ground as the vuvuzela's, as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and Dick Vitale.

EDIT: Damn, new page.

Choral music is fine. Horn orchestras suck.

Of course it needs a professional horn blower to get more pleasing sounds from a vuvuzela:

My bet for England - Germany is 1:3 btw. And of course we'll win the tourney. If not, I'll blame Word.

Ok I'm bored waiting for the next match so here's the standings before the 8th finals:

5 points Titan: Brazil, Chile, Germany, Spain, Portugal. Max possible score: 5+6+4+8+16 = 39
9 points boobert: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Netherlands, Slovakia, S. Korea, Spain, Uruguay. Max possible score: 9+12+8+0+16 = 45
5 points Word: Brazil, Chile, Germany, Spain, Portugal. Max possible score: Disqualification because of invalid bracket.
5 points wap: Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal. Max possible score: 5+8+12+16+16 = 57
6 points AI-Team: Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal. Max possible score: 6+10+12+8+16 = 52
11 points DDMJ: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, England, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal, United States. Max possible score: 11+12+12+16+16 = 67
7 points MaZuffeR: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Netherlands, S.Korea, Spain. Max possible score: 7+12+12+16+16 = 63

WTF is with durka and predictions.

Disclaimer: the max possible score and other stuff might be wrong. didn't spend much energy on getting it right. Correct it if you feel like it.

I spoke not of choral music. I'm speaking of a constant, atonal droning that is the vocal equivalent of the vuvuzelas. Here's a minor example, all I could come up with in 15 seconds of searching. It's very subdued here since it's a neutral court in the tourney, but you hear them every time UNCONN (the guys in grey) has the ball. Imagine it multiplied tenfold. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ugl6zhDZko

Bad example. :/
