the latest stable release

I am running ubuntu 10.04 and armagetron was running fine until I installed the .package file from this site. I noticed that the sound no longer works. reinstallation doesnt work either. When I run it through terminal it says Sound Initialisation Failed. I suggest you guys find a fix to this error.

I was just wondering if anyone else thinks the graphics options changes their gameplay experience.
