Oh, and z-man, Macs usually work. But then again, when they don't work the user gets a bit mental. Mac user: OMG!! WHY WONT ARMA WOR...

What happens if someone with dialup is in the game. Are you saying that no one will gets points for killing them :?: If the server was set to do so, yes. I wouldn't recommend setting a server up that doesn't reward players that have lag. I would rather have a detector that informs the players that ...

Lag detector?
I think this would be an interesting concept. If someone dies by lag instead of saying <user> coredumped <user> for <#> points. The lag detector could notify that the player was killed by lag. An option in server configurations could also be something like LAG_KILL, meaning how many points awarded w...

There is an additional clique problem, but I'm not sure that's solvable. I think we should just be trying to mitigate the damages, people naturally form cliques just like they naturally get boners. Cheers for the best simile I've seen in my days. :) canada: i know i called you an idiot, but thats j...

Console game? This game is not meant for a console. How in the love of God can you double bind on an XBOX controller?! It costs money, and I'm guessing if making Armagetron available for a console, the developers would have to make some sort of story with it. I'm not buying a $50 game just for multi...

Their favourite IM client need only be standards-compliant. That includes almost all clients except a select few which practice vendor/network lock-in (primarily AIMCQ and Yahoo-MSN). Yes. The few that almost everyone uses. Yes, they suck, but they're simple and easy to use. Besides, MSN, AIM(Trito...
